Add knowledge management

Problem Statement

In my Kaneo use-case, tasks often include discovery of topics, research and creating documentation for certain things. Right now results of Tasks like this can only be documented inside the body or in comments of a/the or in a separate application which makes it hard to maintain.

Proposed Solution

Kaneo could add a simple knowledge management system per Project and/or per Workspace.

MVP Features:

• Tree-Structure of docs, each with:
  • Title
  • Metadata (Date, Labels)
  • Rich-Text Body

Nice to have:

• Comments
• File attachments
• References
  • Task (in text, as relation) → Document
  • Document → Tasks referencing the Document
• Connection to GitHub/Gitea Wiki
• Ability to make certain pages public

Alternative Solutions

If the full knowledge management is not an option in Kaneo, other ways to integrate with Repository Wikis and other knowledge management applications could be a smaller alternative approach.

Relevant Context

Example:
Planing a pavilion on a congress often starts with researching information about prices, available spaces, researching designers that build booths etc.. These results are split into sub-tasks which leads to the results being spread across many tasks.

The knowledge management would add the possibility to build up an overview document referenced by all the sub-tasks, to create a centralized overview.

Does this feature align with Kaneo's focus on simplicity?

This feature would certainly add a full new scope of features to the application, which is not a small change.

But I would argue that an integration of this new scope would make Kaneo an even more powerful tool and the simplicity of Kaneo could also be applied to this new scope. Additionally I would assume, that a decent amount of components and logic could be reused from the tasks (Labels, User References, Rich-Text editing, Comments, Relations)
