Overall status (task count) of each project in the "Projects" overview

Openaurelien-slodzian (GitHub) · · edited

Problem Statement

The "Projects" view lists all projects, with a synthetic progress indicator;
it would be useful to view there how many tasks are in each state, at least "To do", "in progress" and "In review"
That would allow the PM to view in a glance where there is pending work without inspecting each project.

and, by the way, please sort project alphabetically ...

Thank you for this beautiful took

Proposed Solution

Add 1 column per shared state and indicate the number of tasks in that state

Alternative Solutions

I understand that that might not work if a users has a different workflow for different projects; but then one could imagine that this feature might be optional, and the user would select which columns to report in the overview.

Relevant Context

Useful specifically for PM that oversee > 5-6 projects at a time, or large projects with a Kaneo project per module

Does this feature align with Kaneo's focus on simplicity?

That would not be a new feature, simply an synthetic report
