Filter tasks by exact start and due dates or date ranges
What would you like to change?
I often need to answer questions such as "Which tasks start between October 1 and October 15?" or "What is due on this exact day?" The current presets are useful, but they do not allow a custom date or range, and there is no start-date filter.
Please let me choose the field (start date or due date), then filter by an exact date, a range, before, or after. It should work alongside the existing assignee, priority, and label filters, with the chosen dates shown in the active filter chips. Tasks without a value in the selected field should only match when "No date" is selected explicitly.
Additional context
The board currently has due-date presets such as "This week", "Next week", and "No due date", and the backlog also supports preset due-date filters. Tasks already have startDate and dueDate; what is missing is a user-selected date filter for either field. Issue #1041 included an API due-date-range query in a broader wishlist. This request concerns the interactive task views and also covers start dates.
